The top two teams from each group will progress to the knock-outs with the top five group winners automatically making the quarter-finals. They will be joined by the best of the second-ranked teams in the last eight. The other four second-ranked teams will play in the pre-quarterfinals with the winners completing the quarter-final line-up.
